If you are considering any hike, water activity, camp grounds, etc. first contact the Outdoor Recreation Center (phone: 808-449-5215 for JBPHH, 808-335-4195 for PMRF). Their knowledgeable staff can provide advice and information to experienced travelers and newcomers alike. They offer fun and unique excursions to different locations around the island and can even construct a custom tour for your group! If you are a single servicemember, check out one of MWR's Liberty Centers, as they also provide guided tours (including hikes, water activities, bicycle tours) all over the island for little to no cost. |
