Wet Slip, Dry Storage and Locker Online Registration
Online registration for wet slips, dry storage and lockers is now open. Once your form is submitted, you will receive a confirmation email that it was received by our office.
IMPORTANT information: If you are currently on a waitlist, you do NOT need to re-register for that list. Only fill out this form if you would like to be put on a list you currently are not on.
If you are in Group 2 (priority 2 Retirees and priority 3 Current DoD civilians) and would like to be placed on the Live Aboard Wet Slip wait list you may register through Sunday, 28 February at 1800 HST. By filling out the form and checking the "Wet Slip (Live Aboard)" box, you will automatically be included in a lottery to establish this list. Names taken after 1800 HST on the 28th will be placed on this list in order of registration.

Start Sailing Right Classes
16 years and older
Learn the ins and outs of sailing in this month-long course taught by one of our certified instructors. Once you are certified you will have the opportunity to use the Rhodes-19. This class consists of classroom theory and on-the-water group instruction. Call 449-5215 to find out when the next classes start.
After School Sailing Class
9 to 15 years old
This month-long course is taught on our certified sailing instructors. Class consists of classroom theory and on-the-water group instruction. This class can accommodate all levels of ability. Limited space, so call 449-5215 to find out more.
Keiki After School Intro to Sailing
For ages 8 and 9 years old
This month-long course taught by our certified sailing instructors is built as an introduction to the fun activity of sailing. This class focuses on new and timid sailors-to-be. Space is limited, call 449-5215 for more information.
Private Sailing Instruction
$20 per person for a one-hour session
If group lessons are not your thing, or you just cannot make it to one of our classes, then private lessons might be for you! Our staff provides one-on-one lessons, all of which are U.S. Sailing Association certified. Call 449-5215 to schedule a private individual or group lesson.
R-19 Open Ocean Certification
$80 per person for 4 hours
Our Rhodes 19 watercraft is available for open ocean trips to patrons certified with a Diamond Head checkout from Hickam Harbor Marina. Prerequisites for this activity requires patrons to receive their "R-19 Qualification Card" plus 10-hours of R-19 rental at Hickam Harbor to qualify to sign up for the "R-19 Open Ocean Certification." Qualified patrons are eligible to sign up for a 4-hour open ocean check out to Diamond Head from Hickam Harbor Marina with a certified instructor.
Marina Check-outs for Experienced Sailors
$20 per person for 1 hour
Instructors will inform you of the rules and regulations of our marinas. Includes a review of our rental policies and safety procedures. Once the course is complete you will be provided with a qualification card from the marina. Patrons holding a certification from Rainbow Bay Marina will be required to have an orientation at before renting at Hickam Harbor. All qualifications will be determined by a marina sailing instructor's evaluation.
Morning Sailing Sessions at Hickam Harbor
Tuesdays and Wednesdays
10 a.m. - Noon
Cost: $5 per boat per hour
Enjoy Wednesday mornings at the Hickam Harbor with sailing. Activity open to all eligible military and DoD personnel with a Rhodes 19 qualification check out card. All boats must be dockside by 12 p.m. (standard prices apply after 12 p.m.). Space is limited and based on a first-come first-serve basis. No reservation taken.
