Entry Fees: Military: $160, All others: $180
Format: (54) hole stroke Play
Eligibility: Amateurs with computerized GHIN handicap index less than 14.0
Flights:
- Championship (3.9 and less)
- “A”-Flight (4.0-8.5)
- “B”-Flight (8.6-14.0)
- “Senior-Flight” (14 and below)
Note: “A” and “B” flight Champions of the 2015 Barbers Point Invitational will be entered in the higher flight for 2016 (“B” to “A”, “A” to Championship.)
Prizes: Merchandise Gift Certificates (prize pool determined by number of entries received per flight)
Tournament Champion will be the player with the lowest 54 hole score regardless of flight assignment. In the event of a tie a sudden death playoff will decide the winner of each flight.
Entry Rules:
ENTRY FORMS WILL BE SENT VIA EMAIL ON MAY 20, 2016. Entries must be postmarked no earlier than June 3, 2016 and no later than June 23, 2016. Incomplete entries will be rejected. Players whose entries are accepted will be notified via email. All entries are subject to approval by the tournament committee. Contestants may be assigned to different flights if scores reflect inaccurate handicaps before or during the tournament. No refunds after 27 June 2016.
Other Info:
- Field will be cut by 50% after 36 holes.
- Players must check-in daily, 20 minutes prior to tee time.
- Practice Rounds: Entrants have one free practice round but may schedule more than one: July 01-06. For starting times, call: Barbers Point Golf Course: 682-1911 (5 days prior)
- Lunch will be provided on Friday.
- Awards Ceremony: There will be an awards ceremony immediately following play on Saturday July 9, 2016.
Dress Code: Navy Region Hawaii Golf Courses require the use of soft spikes, no metal spikes allowed. Dress code enforced.
