To honor the countless hours our community volunteers selflessly donate to the JBPHH community, please nominate!
The Military and Family Support Center (MFSC) will be hosting the 6th Annual Joint Base Pearl Harbor-Hickam (JBPHH) Volunteer Recognition Program and is currently accepting nominations for the attached awards. JBPHH is honored to have an abundance of skilled, energized, and eager volunteers to enhance the quality of life of our community. The JBPHH Volunteer Recognition is one way to formally recognize your volunteers to kick off "National Volunteer Week," April 23-29.
Award Categories ( January 1 - December 31, 2016):
- Volunteer Family of the Year
- Volunteer Spouse of the Year
- Volunteer Youth of the Year
- Volunteer Command/Unit/Directorate of the Year
- Volunteer Community/Nonprofit Agency of the Year
- JBPHH Community Volunteer of the Year
In addition to nominating your volunteers, we welcome your supportive attendance at the recognition ceremony on 19 April 2017 aboard the historic USS Missouri. Award winners will be announced and each volunteer attending the ceremony will receive a certificate of appreciation. Attendees will also be able to sign up for an optional guided tour ($27 value) before or after the ceremony. Please RSVP NLT April 12, 2017, by clicking HERE.
The attached guide is provided to assist you in determining the appropriate award categories for your volunteers and how to prepare the nomination packages. Nominations are due to the MFSC NLT COB March 31via email to MFSChawaii@navy.mil.
