The Navy Region Hawaii Community Support Programs of Morale, Welfare and Recreation (MWR) Department provides services and activities to enhance the quality of life for eligible patrons stationed in Hawaii. Eligible patrons include Active Duty Military Personnel and their family members; Reservists; Military Retirees and Department of Defense Employees. Community Support Program activities include mission essential programs to support health and fitness training requirements for active duty, as well as recreational programs including adult recreation centers, bowling centers, softball fields, night clubs, golf courses and food and beverage outlets; youth and childcare programs and seasonal holiday events. The Region serves more than 18,000 active duty sailors. Over 37,000 family members and retirees and an additional 5,000 DOD employees are eligible to use MWR services.

The services provided by the Morale, Welfare and Recreation Program are for the Sailors who spend days, weeks and months at sea, training to defend our country. These entertainment options provide welcome recreation and relaxation to reenergize the mind, body and spirit. Forward deployed personnel know that their family members can participate in quality recreation programs that fit within the family budget.
